The Fire Museum of Texas offers a birthday party service.  Children will have a unique opportunity to see fire apparatus and enjoy their birthday celebration with a fun theme. There are two types of parties to choose from:


Captain's Party

The 2 hour party includes:

  • Trip through the Fire Safety Activity Center. Displays teach fire and home safety behaviors using a learn-by-doing approach.

  • Learn stop, drop & roll & Fire Escape Plans 

  • Use of the Museum’s kitchen facility. See Facility Use Information sheet for more details.

  • All children receive a coloring book and crayons.  For an additional $2 per child, we can provide fire helmets and badges to take home.
  • Limit of 15 children

The price for the Captain's birthday party is $150 with a $75 non-refundable deposit, payable at time of booking.


Chief's Party

The 2 hour party includes:

  • Turn-out gear demonstration by Beaumont Fire Department
  • Engine will come to the party and children will be allowed to climb aboard for photo opportunities (in case of emergency, engine cannot be guaranteed)
  • All services provided in Captain's party
  • Limit of 15 children

The price for the Chief's birthday party is $200 with a $100 non-refundable deposit payable at time of booking.


Checks should be made payable to:  Fire Museum of Texas.  Parties are booked on a first come-first served basis.  We recommend hand delivery of your forms and check to us to avoid mail delays or conflicts.

Facility Use Information

The Fire Museum of Texas encourages the accessibility of its facility to all visitors.  Groups and individuals wishing to enhance their event with the unique atmosphere encountered at the Fire Museum may request use of a room or rooms at the museum for a variety of programs.

Facility Use Guidelines:

1.  Birthday party size is limited to 15 children.  Adults must supervise children during all activities at museum.


2.  Advance set up for party is 30 minutes before scheduled party time. Parties must be completed by 7:30 p.m. during the week and 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays.


3.  Use of kitchen facility includes: table & chairs, microwave, refrigerator and sink appliances.  Bring your own plates, napkins, food, drinks, and utensils.  Please leave kitchen clean after your event.


4.  No food or drinks allowed outside of kitchen.


5.  Smoking is not permitted inside the museum or within 25 feet of the entrance.


6.  Visitors are asked to keep off the vehicles.Touching the fire equipment and artifacts is not allowed.  Running and horseplay is not permitted. Any unruly groups will be asked to leave the museum.


7.  No piñatas or confetti or crepe paper is allowed in the museum.


8.  Damage to the museum or any of its property is the sole responsibility of the event sponsor.Financial enumeration for the cost of repair/replacement will fall on the event sponsor.Violation of any of the above general guidelines may result in expulsion from the facility.


9.  The service fee is to be paid in advance.  Checks are to be made out to:  Fire Museum of Texas


10. Signed contract with payment must be returned to the museum office.   Facility reservations are scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis.  Your date will not be held until the rental payment is received along with a signed contract.  


11. The Fire Museum of Texas reserves the right to cancel any special program within as little as one week prior to the time of the event with just cause.  In case of an extreme fire department emergency, the Museum may cancel special programs at any time.


12. In the event of cancellation, the portion of your deposit that is non-refundable will not be returned. Any other amounts paid in advance will be refunded to you.


Museum hours are:

 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday
